This is for you to vote on your favorite PI. Remember, these are American eyes only, and only literary ones. I'll be creating seperate polls for British eyes and TV and movie eyes. I know I missed some; there's just too many eyes, and too little space. I went with my favorites, or ones that I've heard about a lot. If yours isn't on the list, just add them here. :D

I voted for other because JA Jance writes great stories featuring a Detective J.P. Beaumont who solves homicides in Seattle.

She also writes about a female sheriff named Joanna Brady who operates in Arizona.

I voted for Spenser because I liked the show when it was on (haven't read any of the books).

One I might suggest is Alex Cross (Kiss the Girls) necause he comes from a series of books.

I almost went with you on this, but I think of Cross as more as a detective since he works with the police and FBI.

I voted for Mike Hammer.

I voted for Nate Heller, but Hammer would be a close second.

I'd like to cast my vote for Jim Rockford from the American TV show the Rockford Files... This show was really great... even though I only caught onto it in reruns...
Of course I like Hammer and Philip Marlowe... But rockford was cool... and much in
the tradition of American literary P.I.'s,,, :D
