Well as Every one here has Probably guessed I am pertty much posessed by Tom Clancy. Still thier are few people today that have'nt at least read one of his novels, So please give your opinion of the Author His Book s and Which is your favorite.

For me even though it is a tough choice is has to definitely be the Patroit Games, more so than even than anyother of his novels This one seems to be on a more close up personal than anyother of his novels, dark too. The Jack Ryan-Sean Miller conflict was expertedly done. ph34r.gif

I haven't read too many Clancy novels, so there weren't too many options for me. I went with Hunt For Red October. I liked Rainbow Six too.

My favorite is "Cardinal of the Kremlin". It's a first-rate spy novel, in my opinion. I'd like to see Clancy tone down the emphasis on military technology in his books, and return to the classic espionage themes that he relied on in "Cardinal..."

Ye Iam actually about to start Cardinal of the Kremlin (for the first time actually)
and I will see how it goes down

I don't think that Clancy will be changing his his realistic military themes in his books which is addmitedly a trademark of his. I like Him best for how unfold personal drama and motivations, in the midst of crisis ( I.E Patriot Games, Red Storm Rising)

I hope you enjoy "Cardinal", Marko. As I mentioned above, the plot of "Cardinal" is based mainly on American-Soviet espionage, with the subjects of missile-defense systems and special operations in the background. There are also a few characters in "Cardinal" that you might find familiar, as well... ;)

Patriot Games. Both the novel and movie were superb.

But in my opinion Clancy's greatest creation was Sam Fisher ph34r.gif
